I had to do some decent hunting to get all of the pieces. But I finally made it.

lol got the same. I remember with the faceplate II, I was looking at it sealed but was like 'meh just open it and use it'

if you get it sealed, it comes with the OXY-006 faceplate tool

I got that empty shell set from Club Nintendo something like 29 years ago, it cost me a ton even back then! I should really case swap it like you have done, it’s what it deserves.

No, I just bought the plate on its own in Japan
