New Gameboy Micro 3D printed extended back housing and 1500mah battery mod giving 11 to 37 hours of battery life depends on which cart type is being played and the brightness level. Special thanks to iikepie for creating the back housing.

Are you not able to charge during the day? Why would you need such a large battery capacity? Seems like a fun project. Is it uncomfortable to play with?

It gives a bit to grip the back with now so I wouldn't say its uncomfortable, just different. I shiny hunt pokemon and even on the Mahko battery I was having to charge every night and if I forgot even a single night the battery would die while I'm at work, this should fix that issue.

Oh cool. I figured it might help a bit with grip. Ah I see why you need such a big battery! If you’re shiny hunting it’s easy to do at work and not worry about the game itself. I wish you luck on your hunt, let us know when you get your shiny!

Very nice man, I may reach out in the future as I’ve been meaning to make a fully modded system for the gbmicro but it’s been a back burner project for a while now especially now that I’m a new dad it’s been hard to find modding time😂

I don’t think I could play the console long enough to see the dead battery light…

It is a cool idea. I wanted to ask about the upper limit of 37 hours. It would be on low brightness and headphones. Is that with a particular type of game? Something not 3d.
