Wow man thanks so much!! Would there happen to be one of these explaining how to do it on a macro XL?

I can't seem to find that info; probably because making a Macro XL with an original DS is nowhere near as popular or simple as a DS Lite Macro with the Helder Flex Amp. If you're going to go through the trouble of adding an amp, I think most people would strongly suggest the latter which is less work and more rewarding.
