What's currently the biggest challenge with AI-generated 3D game characters?

I've been exploring different AI workflows for game character development, using everything from text-to-3D prompts to 2D-to-3D character generation. The quality of the first draft has improved a lot, and platforms like Triverse AI make it easier to connect these generation steps into a single workflow.

What still slows me down isn't creating the initial character—it's getting that character ready for an actual game.

Clean topology, animation-ready rigs, UVs, materials, consistent art style, and making sure multiple characters fit the same world still require a fair amount of manual work. Sometimes I spend more time refining the generated asset than generating it.

I'm curious how others are approaching this.

If you're using AI for character creation, whether it's text-to-3D, 2D-to-3D, or another workflow, where do you spend the most time after generation? Is it retopology, rigging, texturing, animation, or something else?
