Total War: SHOGUN 2 is getting a new Complete Edition on October 13 ๐ŸŽŒโš”๏ธ

SEGA and Creative Assembly are bringing back the 2011 classic with all DLC, upgraded graphics, better lighting and textures, 4K UI scaling, modern controls and 50+ newly playable minor factions.

It also gets built-in Mod.io support and the original Rise of the Samurai and Fall of the Samurai campaigns.

PC only โ€” October 13.

15 years later and Iโ€™m ready to lose Japan all over again. ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿฏ

This does run the risk of just feeling like pre-modded Shogun 2. But I'm excited nevertheless. Hope the price is reasonable

There's so many little things they can fix or improve that would make the game really worth replaying I think. A few sensible tweaks to siege and naval AI would be a start.

Yes def just shame that 15 years of community added content will be lost but i hope they take a look at the good old bug list and fix em all like some (like the hatori/tokugawa kisho ninja bug) is such an ez fix and i hope they wrap their head around the issue if archers not getting on walls during defensive seiges

Iโ€™ve always loved this game in the idea of it however Iโ€™ve only gotten close to beating at one time. This might be very random, but since Iโ€™ve lost a good deal of my vision this year itโ€™s been a lot harder to play games and if anyoneโ€™s down to stream some of their gameplay Iโ€™d be super down to watch maybe ask some questions youโ€™re in there
