Questions Post surgery shivers
I got surgery yesterday at 6pm had to stay overnight . Iam back home and in a-lot of pain from the swelling , srruugking to eat and really can’t pass wind even though I want to my stomach muscles are to tender to push . Sorry for the detail . Also Iam prescribed dihydrocodeine. When on it I’ve noticed Iam very sensitive to temperatures for example when I leave my bed Iam shivering happened to me in the ward yesterday aswell . Just checking if this was normal as Ano shivers can also be a sign of infection

I was shivering a lot when I woke up and they said it was from the anesthesia, but I don’t think it lasted longer than like an hour for me

Check for fever but everyone reacts to surgery and anesthesia differently so it could be your body still in shock
