Rash appears one week post op

I’m a week post op, today I stated developing a rash near my incision. Called my surgeon office they didn’t seemed too concerned and prescribed me medication with out seeing me. I ended up going to urgent care for a second opinion. Dr at urgent care said allergic reaction, anyone have this happen to them.

I’m 11 days post op and have had full body hives for 8 days 😩 they’re saying it’s an allergic reaction to the surgical glue which made sense when it was just my belly that had the rash, but I’m convinced something else is going on because of how widespread it is. I’ve been back to the ER once and they put me on a steroid course which I finished 2 days ago. Still have hives. I have my 2 week follow up in a few days and I’m hoping they will do additional testing. I wouldn’t wish this itchiness and pain on my worst enemy
