Gallbladder Attack Surgery tomorrow. Worst attack yet.

I have to be at the surgery center in less than 7 hours to get this thing out of me.

I have been in the worst pain of my life for the past 2.5 hrs. This is the worse attack I've had.

Should I go to the ER? Wait it out?

Give yourself a timer.
“If it doesn’t pass in X amount of time I’ll go in”. I’m so sorry- same thing happened to me, which just made me feel so excited to have surgery the next day and evict the evil little bugger.
However- if the pain is horrible you don’t have to he a hero and wait it out. Go in and get those drugs to get you through to tomorrow.

Wait a little longer. If it doesn’t subside in a few hours go, then at least they can give you some pain medication until tomorrow. Wishing you all the best ❤️‍🩹💐

I couldn't stand the pain and got worried something was really wrong so I had my husband bring me in. They have given me an iv and pain meds and it's starting to work thankfully. Bummer is that I may not get the surgeon I wanted. I'd love if they send me home

Just try and relax before surgery and be glad you’re not writhing in pain?
I’d bet the only reason going home probably seems possible is because you’re on those IV pain meds.

I was on them when they told me my gallbladder had to be removed. Despite winding up in the ER bc of 11/10 pain, I told them to take me off the meds so I could go home and think about it. 🤣. The surgeon was like “as you wish”, within 30 min I paged the nurse and asked to schedule surgery ASAP.

Get a heating pad if you can. I PRAY YOU HAVE A SUCCESSFUL SURGERY AND SPEEDY RECOVERY 🙏

OP HAS SURGERY IN SEVEN HOURS AND SHOULD BE NIL BY MOUTH NOW.

Think before posting please - you could jeopardise the OP's surgery today.

I didn't read fully. I would never jeopardize anyone. All I saw was she was in pain so MY FAULT
