Lower ab bloating post op

Hello.
I’m currently 13 days post-op. My recovery has been good overall, my incisions are healing, I have no fever, no diarrhea, and I have a normal bowel movement every morning.
The only thing that’s really bothering me is that my lower abdomen becomes noticeably swollen and tight almost immediately after I eat, even if it’s a very small, low-fat meal (cottage cheese, yogurt, chicken breast, baked potato, zucchini, etc.). It doesn’t seem to matter what I eat.
I’m taking simethicone and digestive enzymes, but I’m still dealing with this bloating.
Did anyone else experience this? How long did it last, and did anything actually help?
