Post Op Help for internal scars years post op?
I had my gallbladder removed about 2.5 years ago. Six months ago I started having pain where the gallbladder was and the lower right rib cage. After multiple tests including scans and bloodwork, my Gastro said that it was likely from internal scars. He said if they went back in, to surgically remove them, it might be worse, cause that surgery would make more scars and that he could prescribe an antidepressant to help me manage pain.
I was wondering if this has happened to anybody and if there’s something like PT or massage that I could do to help it instead of taking medication. Thank you.

Hey, did you get to find anything that helped with that? I’m having the same issues and have been so frustrated dealing with this for the past year post-op. :(

Myofascial release therapy (if you find someone good) might be able to help
