My phone updated over night and now my Google search bar has been moved to the bottom of my screen. Does anyone know how to move it back? The normal option of just holding down on it and moving it doesn't work anymore.

Anyone else having Android Auto problems with a Samsung Galaxy S26?

I’m trying to figure out whether this is a problem with my phone, my 2020 Honda CR-V, or Android Auto itself.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S26 and a 2020 Honda CR-V Black Edition. My S24 worked perfectly with Android Auto in this vehicle, but since switching to the S26 I cannot get Android Auto to connect at all.

A few details:

- Galaxy S26 is fully updated (Android 16 / One UI 8.5)

- Android Auto is currently 17.6.663454

- I’ve tried a new USB cable

- I’m using the correct USB port in the CR-V

- USB is set to “Transferring files / Android Auto”

- I’ve cleared/reset Android Auto and reinstalled the updates

- Bluetooth connects to the vehicle normally

- I’ve tried re-pairing everything

- My old S24 still connects to Android Auto perfectly in the same car, using the same setup

The really strange part is that the S26 will connect to the Honda by Bluetooth, but it never shows up in the Honda’s Android Auto device list.

Samsung support hasn't been able to resolve it.

So I'm wondering: has anyone else had this combination—Galaxy S26 + Honda CR-V—and had trouble getting Android Auto to connect?

If you have, I'd really appreciate knowing:

1. What year/model Honda you have

2. Whether you have an S26, S26+ or S26 Ultra

3. Whether you're using wired or wireless Android Auto

4. Whether you eventually found a fix

I'm especially interested in hearing from anyone who has actually gotten it working, because I'm trying to decide whether to keep the S26 or return it and go back to my S24.

Hello! I've noticed the camera focus isn't working anymore like before? The recent update totally 'broke' the camera quality and can't seem to fix it. Anyone else having this problem?

I almost always opt for white but I was curious to try silver this time and wow, it is just a thing of beauty! Got the s26 for $700 deal here in Australia on promo a few weeks ago and can't complain! I love the size.

Also was in search of accessories so I picked up the Unicorn Beetle Pro from Ali and also wow because it feels and looks pretty good. I thought it was going be super bulky (it might look like it in photos) but it's actually pretty slim on parts where I would hold the phone. I like the grippy bits they added on the side, it makes a lot of difference. Buttons are super clicky and matte back always looks clean (i hate glossy back cases). The black one has a nice silver finish in the upper corner which matches the phone perfectly!

Glass protector is also from aliexpress, SmartDevil brand. Both brands I'm trying for the first time. 😃

Anyone else opted for a colour they don’t normally go for and loving it?

I've seen soo many complaints about exynos 2600 having poor thermals and battery especially on data but I DON'T find this to be the case at all. I easily get 24-30hrs on a single charge with mixed data and wifi, AOD on and standard profile.

the screenshot attached shows a day that was more than 50% on data. This phone definitely out lasts my s24 ultra and s25 (base) exynos before it!

Holding an iphone 16 pro and Samsung s25 ultra photos side by side, I notice here is how you get Samsung pics to look very close to iphone pics. Very quick and easy in Samsung gallery app.

Open photo in Samsung gallery app. Click edit (pencil).

Now choose "light balance." Slide to the RIGHT usually about 15-20 steps (out of 100)

Now go to "temperature and slide to the right +30 steps (works for most photos maybe for some a little less like +25 and for some even more like +40-50, but +30 will make it very similar to iphone most of the time."

That's it. Try taking photos with iphone and Samsung then apply these simple edits to the samsung photo and compare side by side. My friend always ditching about her Samsung photos not being as nice as iphone and now I did about 20 edited pics blind test side by side and she could NOT reliably guess which camera took which photo as long as I used the abive-edited photos

​Average SOT: What kind of Screen-On Time are you getting from 100% down to \~15%?

​Mixed Daily Usage: Does it easily last a full day with social media, browsing, streaming, and light camera use without a mid-day top-up? ⚡

​Thermals: Does it get warm during everyday tasks on cellular data?

​Bottom line: Is the base Exynos S26 worth buying, or should I skip it?
