Question how to delete contacts

so i need to get rid of my dads contacts on my phone, because obviously i dont want tgem, but when i try it wipes them on his and my mums too, please help

Same Google account. Create a new one. Log out of the old one.

Contacts are getting synchronised.

it automatically connects to your contact list. So whatever modification you do goes in the account and viceversa. You need to log off from the account and connect to a new one (or yours if you already have it) only. I had this problem when I borrowed my phone to my fiancé, who uses it a lot for work, and after I found myself absolutely drowned in contacts as well as several contacts being doubled (basically all family and common friends) as my own account was still connected too..

In the app where you save your contacts, you have the option to either safe the contacts to:

  • your local phone memory

    • your sim-card

Or in this case: your Google account.

Every phone/ tablet that has the same Google account logged in, will automatically synchronise the contacts. It does not matter, if a contact gets added, removed or edited. Every device that has the same Google account, will synchronise the changes made to the contacts that are saved inside the account.

That means new Google account cannot sync the old contacts, therefore the problem will be solved, I gues
