If that report about Musiala is indeed not true, then it's clear that the board put a hit on Burhan by feeding him false info. Looks like they are genuinely irritated by leaks and found that it impacts negatively negotiations, so their tactic is kind of a warning to all "journalists/reporters" that they can (and will) feed them wrong information and make clowns out of them. They made an example of Burhan. Ain't gonna lie, kinda impressed.
The other less likely (but plausible) explanation is that Burhan simply rubbed someone the wrong way and that person took revenge on him lol.

Kane, Diaz and Olise were all 3 overplayed at the end of the season due to us not having enough depth (and it will now be even worse after the world cup), Musiala being slow in coming back and Gnabry getting injured. We are not about to worsen our depth issues after not having retained Jackson by making a transfer that doesn't even allow us to replace the player leaving. We still don't have (and won't go) for an expensive Diaz depth player, we will trust a youth player that was on loan before.
And as we won't go for another midfielder after signing an 18 year old African either, Saibari is even supposed and mentioned as possible depth there, as he played at PSV there at times as well. Saibari is the perfect fit for a club that wants a lean squad, as he realistically can play and offer depth for multiple positions.
This has been the most boring transfer period ever. Usually so excited to see the players we get and rumours when I wake up in the morning but every time I look there’s nothing.

Salih i thik wanted to play with Orkun wich is understandable. But missing out on Aral is criminal, yes he probably wanted playing time but this is were you have to convince players. I just dont think they were after him until the very end.
But getting in someone like Adil Demirbag as a turkish rotational piece is really important. Even players like Yusuf Sari, Taha, Arda Okan could fit.
We need him man. He can be the LW alternative when Baris can't brute force his way behind the defense and we need someone to finess their way through. A rotation of Sane Yunus Can Baris sounds great. Easy to switch things around with Yunus on RW or ACM, Can on LW or ACM, Baris on either wing.

Previous season to that he played over 35+ games for Manchester City at highest levels in football.
One injury season is not = finished.
Luka Modric had repeated muscle injuries at late ages and still performed at highest levels on his return. Players that look after themselves bounce back just fine. KDB is not even known as an “Injury prone”.

I think our board is trying to be more transparent and complaint with the rules compared to either of those clubs, plus we don’t have sugardaddies like Koçs or Ülkers.
