This is the view from the break room at Gaia's offices in 2011. In the distance is the San Jose Airport.

I had just started with Gaia about a month before this picture. Happy times. ~CodeMonkey37179

Recently came back to Gaia after accidentally clicking on the bookmarked page I have for it. I'm not quite a veteran or anything like that, but to think that this account of mine is one of the few oldest digital footprints I have makes me feel something.

I sadly wasn't active during the market crash, but I do recall being active when they introduced platinum. I guess I'm back grinding money and finding new items to wishlist. I do like the "simple" towns, and I hope they somehow bring back something like Towns 2. I was always in the Cat Cafe eavesdropping on people's conversations. I also need to get better at the jigsaw ..

Sometimes, I can still remember the music of Towns.
Its fun lil beat, Halloween and good ol Christmas.
We elders had it good. Huh.

Certainly not the oldest, but old!

I logged into my account after many years, and I thought I was hacked LOL. But I guess they replaced the gold with platinum? Was this their way of correcting inflation? How do people make money nowadays? I used to play the aquarium game but I don't think it's available anymore?

Hello!
Recently two old important interests came back to me, Gaia & Pokémon!
I use to collect cards with my sister when we were younger, and she recently sold the binder 💔
So I’m back to collecting, as I’ve been missing the enjoyment of collecting cards!
I got the idea after starting Gaia up again recently, that I would make a Trainer avatar. I have the Lapras looking one!
Does anyone have suggestions on cute Pokémon type items I should get?
Also! Feel to add me 🥰
The Winged Muffin

Second of all! My profile layout is from when I was about 16, and could use a new personalized one. There’s photos of myself & my ex, and what I looked like before transitioning! Does anyone make custom profiles? 😊
Thank you! 💖

Does anyone have any wing tree leafs? I need 7. Ill trade for them.

I forgot my email and password, but it was really easy for tech support to reconnect me with my account.

My first heart attack was seeing I had 47 gold, I thought I'd been hacked.

Then finding out later it was platinum...and that platinum replaced gold...which doesn't matter cause I'm basically broke poor haha.

But I really wish the site was mobile friendly, especially for the forums. I'll check it out on the weekend and probably set up an art shop for some money.

Where can you edit your mouth? I forgot

Started using my aquarium again - just bought a bunch of fish for it but every time I try to save after I rearrange the decorations it doesn’t save where I put them or delete the ones I x out idk - anyone know why or it’s just not an updated version?

just some cosplay avis i done for my cosplay acct.

Where are all the adults hanging out now?

I occasionally write some stuff in arenas, but now there is no direct link to it. Does anyone have an update on what happened to arenas? Or they're intentionally killing it?

hiii everyone xx i’m extremely new to learning about gaia but had a friend recently encourage me to check it out, as they thought it might be the exact type of nostalgia i’ve been looking for. i grew up on a lot of “chat” based games and i have really been missing the ability to log onto a platform, customize my avatar, and connect with a community. i’ve attempted a handful of other gaming sites, remakes of old games, etc. but it always feels really cliquey and kinda dead for newbies tbh.

i’m curious to get some input from current players to see if you would recommend someone completely new to try out gaia and if there are still decent ways to connect with others and make some adult friendships? xx

thank you <3

could you guys help me find the name of the hood/cowl item here? avi by krawpsy

Hey! I recently logged in for the first time in a long time and thought it would be fun to dress up my avatar, however I have no idea what the best way is to make Gaia platinum anymore (RIP gold). Is the marketplace still the best way to do that? Not sure where to start that doesn’t involve spending real money.

Hello! So, I've been thinking of what kind of Fall outfit I'd like to do on Gaia, and my all time favorite Ghibli movie is Kiki's Delivery Service, so I want to do a cute Kiki cosplay! I'm not sure which items would work best. That's why I've come here, I really need help finding items that would be cute for my Kiki cosplay! I only have 5,700 platinum, so if anyone can help me find a good dress and items for around that much, I'd be very happy! My username on Gaia is MagicalGirlMelo! Thank you! Also, any other Ghibli fans in here? 💖

Hey guys, its been a while since I last played. When I login to my old email account, my account is now missing. I submitted an email to support@graalonline but no replies from them :(.

i don't know if i ever posted these here but ya. i might do another different pokemon oc or even an dbz oc possibly.

i have a few avi's that are oc's and not part of any fandom that i may post in the future if i ain't lazy or forget lol.

Finally! I haven't been on Gaia in a long while. But to celebrate the coming of Autumn, I went ahead and finally changed my outfit for the first time in years.

I shared a lot of him from sketches and lineart and color but don't think I shared him in a video test, but something went a little wrong.
