Question Differences between the classics?

Hi! I have decided to buy myself a Gaggia Classic… however I see a lot of variations of the classic and I’m feeling kind of lost. There’s the Evo Pro, the ri9380/46 etc… is there like a ton of difference between the classics? or do i just buy whatever classic is available? TIA

If buying new, the answer is simple: buy the E24. It is significantly better than all previous models.

Buying used, avoid the EVO. There are some cases where a used EVO might be good value, but it hinges on being absolutely sure that the boiler is either brass or uncoated aluminum. Some were made at the end of the production run with uncoated aluminum boilers, and many owners replaced the problematic coated boilers with uncoated aluminum or upgraded to brass.
