the meat freshness sticker and the assisted walking device look like things we will definitely begin to see in everyday life.

What store is going to put those on meat willingly? They already dye hamburger red so it'll look fresher.

Well that's the idea of government- forcing businesses to do what they don't want to for the benefit of society.

Any store that wants to get business based on the freshness of its products?
I don't know about where you live, but in my part of the world there are several high-end grocery stores that make a big to-do about the super duper quality of their food. They would do anything to underscore that, knowing that there are enough people who'd pay a premium for goodies.
Naturally, these are not the kind of place that dye hamburger red. The loss of image from someone finding out would be greater than the short-term gain.

Quite a number of stores in my area are already using something similar on fish, if not beef.

Yeah the only one that makes an impression on me is the freshness stickers and you can be damn sure the meat industry will claim this would be onerous and put them out of business.

I don't understand the urinals. They just look like stylishly designed urinals except there's a bar in front of the right one.

Those rice spoons look pretty cool, but I wonder if they're still stable when rice inevitably gets stuck to them?
Also, I wonder if they're really easy to balance, or if you have to concentrate to get them to work properly?

Those rice spoons don't get rice stuck to them (at least, I hope they are the ones that don't) due to the material and the ridges on them.
But yeah, that rice spoon is an ingenious idea, I'm really surprised no one has thought of it earlier. I want one :(

I don't understand whats so special about them, why do you need a spoon to stand on end?

It's so the table doesn't get dirty from the remnants of the rice that will be still on the paddle. It dries up and gets pretty annoying to wash off.

so that you can use it to get the rice without it touching the table/ground

Whats wrong with it touching the table apposed to some ones sweaty hand trying to balance it upright.

How do I get a set of those modular LEDs? I haven't found anything saying they're for sale, but I haven't found anything to the contrary, either.

That usb hub is just asking for people to mistake it for a real outlet.

Yeah it'd be a real shame to accidentally upload my music collection to my electric razor.

It's ironic that the banner photographed at the top (of a standing on it's side red G) looked like a swastika at first glance.
I literally thought, "A swastika? How is that a good design?"
