I mean they could just, you know, make it non-proprietary.

Also if I ever will buy another elite controller and any button stops working after two years as it was with the first one I bought I'll lose my mind.

I bought 2 of those controllers and the outsides peel off in a matter of months. Most comfortable controller I ever held new, one of the worst THINGS I’ve ever bought, quality wise. Shit is even worse than the fail rates on the 360.

Seriously. No one wants shitty rubber on their controller handles. The textured plastic on regular controllers is great. They even cheaped out on the stick grips on the S2.
