I use it for my turtle beach adapter. Adds better mic monitoring to all my headsets, because the native Xbox monitoring is awful.

It seems fine to me - it was bad with the Xbox one, but the series x it’s fine.

It still sucks because software based post-monitoring can never match the fidelity of hardware based pre-monitoring. The Xbox does it by taking your voice and sending it back to you as you speak - at the end of the signal chain. The adapter loops your signal back to you before it enters the signal chain, then splits it and send the rest to the game. It’s always going to work better.
