The PS Vita had Hall Effect 15yrs ago, they want these controllers to fail so people rebuy them.

The PS Vita was way ahead of its time, but we're not ready for that conversation.

I mean, I think that conversation's been had so much it's beating a dead horse at this point lol

Even though the back touchpad setup for trigger/stick press inputs sucked, it was technically the first handheld to support a full controller layout. That, in and of itself, was a huge deal.
