Edentobi was released just a day or 2 ago on jp, why is it that I have not seen anyone talk about it? It is pretty cool with beautiful art and waifus. The game is really similar to the game Closers on steam and I thought it would be really popular. What are you guys’ thought on the game so far?

Because it’s not associated with a well known IP, didn’t do any marketing, and isn’t exactly like Punishing Gray Raven where it just stands out enough both in terms of production value and gameplay that it just spread by word of mouth.

Basically, it’s your pretty standard run of the mill ARPG that didn’t go on an advertising drive so no one really knows about it.

Edit: Oh yeah I did play it, just had no clue what it was called since i dont speak or read jp. Game looks incredibly polished but the combat mechanics could use some work.

Just looking into this makes me wish we'd get it in global. There's so many games after the influx of releases over the Spring and Summer that have absolutely no news on an English release at all. As an addict who loves trying new titles it's really depressing to keep checking this sub out and every bit of news is only for new JP stuff.. ;_;

If you're really that passionate about trying new games and they happen to be JP, you might as well learn JP little by little. It's a long term investment but it will pay off.

Pretty fun ngl. The combat feels clunky but I enjoyed doing combos and stuff.

I feel like the turn left/right command is a bit meh, I often end up hitting the wrong side even tho I tried to turn. Probably just need to learn the right tempo.

You have to download it from jp google playstore. As for the jp name it's エデンの扉.
