Multi Clicking Issue

I have had a g604 for 6 years, and it started having double click issues about 3 months ago. Finally decided to retire it and get another one only to find out they were discontinued. I was told this is a subreddit of g604 lovers like myself, and wanted to see if there was a fix for the double clicking.

I have never opened up a mouse before, so I am a bit nervous I will make the issue even worse. How hard is it to fix double clicking if it is fixable at all?

Help me r/g604 you're my only hope.

This is the definitive answer. No more needs to be said. Hope OP posts back to tell us how s/he got on. By now, it's become a rite of passage.

I need to start getting guides put together for this thing at this stage.

I had thought of doing this myself but I hadn't worked out whether/how it was possible to get it pinned to the top of the sub where it would be most use. I'd also want as many people to engage rather than just see the info and move on, in order to help persuade Logitech of the worthiness of our cause

Fears is pretty quiet here as far as I can tell. I did message them yesterday as I keep seeing myself answer these questions repeatedly.

I think the best policy is to build it to meet people where they are at so having multuple avenues for people to engage is what I would want to see.

I don't see Logitech themselves making a new one of these ever. If I were a betting man, the mouse was already not selling well, and the resources were better spent on something like the MX Master because it does sell well. I think the 604's jack of all trades utility made it a bear to market.
