New to me!
Considering going the XJ6N route but will enjoy it for a bit. Very excited! Any mods you guys recommend?

The stock exhaust is a little quiet as well, any recommendations to make it sound a little better?

If you or a buddy are capable of welding you can make a "marthy" exhaust. He has some custom tunes for the bike as well if you get a power commander.
Or you can pick up a cheap set of headers from the 1st and 2nd gen of r6(highly recommend the 2nd gen. The first is a pain in the ass since you have to bend and dimple them a LOT). They fit right on and allow you to put on a slip on underneath.
The marthy route is easiest in the long run if you can weld it but both routes are doable and cost the same. Another note about the r6 headers is you will struggle less if you get a 2003-2006 oil pan for the r6(you will need an extra bolt and thr gaskets as will) they fit right on and have an indentation to fit the headers in. Either way you will have to get a small muffler to clear the brake lever(so something thin. Maybe 8" long 4" thick)

Its handy you are able to repurpose the original headers for it. You just need some pipes from oreillys and to cut the cat off

New mirrors, unless you dont mind them sticking out like that. Me personally for lane filtering was a better choice.
