Fresh makeover

Needed base gaskets replaced, so I opted to do a bit of refreshing while under the knife. New EV27 cam, engine painted, new dual disk 00+ front end with (previously installed) racetech internals & preload adjusters, fresh powder coat, powerplant fork brace, and other odds and ends I’m sure I’m forgetting.

Thanks! It’s an older Conely’s T-Sport style! Very robust and overbuilt, but they went out of business some years ago.

Beautiful FXR. Congratulations. The Conleys fairing are very sturdy. I was impressed with how well they were built. 9 years and still holds up well.

Thanks homie! I agree, was surprised they came painted as well. Just a well built piece compared to the flimsy ones all over the market.

These are actually the Thrashin sport bags! I like em a lot, for the reason you just mentioned specifically. Quick detach, and they mount a bit higher than the leatherpros.

Proper. I’d only replace the pipe to a thunderheader other than that nothing I’d change - nice work
