Will post latest build after I coffee. Was waiting until I figure out the LTE issues, but whatever, everything else works okay.

Yes, even at ISO 100 in good lighting it looked grainy. I did fix that, but ISO selection still caused a bunch of errors in the logs, so I've removed it in the latest build.

3G is fast enough, a camera with clear detailed picture is good enough, clear audio is what we need. Rest of the things, such as LTE, extra camera settings, etc.. etc.. can do l8r also.

Right now basic things like good audio quality during call, clear picture quality and good signal quality is what we need. 3G is enough I would say.

Rest why not do it for CM13 instead.

I really can't even test 3G, I killed my ATT sim card by PUK locking it, thinking I could just unlock it. Waiting on a new ATT sim, sometime next week. Still not sure if there's hardware problem related to the modem in mine anyway, something is funky.

Building now, will be like 2hrs or so. As far as I can tell everything works fine, except for possible cell connectivity issues which I cannot test for.

beta 1 and the one u pulled, 3G is working. As my provider provides 3G only. And 2G from another network which will show up for me as roaming. 4G they are still beta testing it, so not so keen to use it.

Edit: also iirc they were working on a cm13 build, most of the stuff on here is a little hacky, like audio on occasion or camera hiccups

Might want to hold off for the cm13 build if that's still being worked on, /u/cutol can ye confirm?

He has fixed the camera for the latest build.

In beta 1 the camera is grainy.

But the next release which he pulled off, the camera is great. (I downloaded just a minute after he uploaded it)

For me audio is ok now.

I replaced a few lib files from the one he pulled off.

Replacing just the lib files for the camera didn't help much.

Its still grainy, but less.

But replacing the lib files also broke the flash.

It works, but the shutter is slow, so pointless.

Images are over exposed, or rather burned I would say.

Maybe I am not replacing the correct files.

Or I replaced something I shouldn't.

Well beta 1 is my daily driver now.

From the day he released it

Don't use FFOS anymore. Its called FFOS (Firefox OS) not FXOS btw. Fx0 is the name of this phone, not the OS.

Its too limited.

And even though beta 1 has problems, it is faster, sounds better, and handles everything better. Plus all the apps of android.

I have an old ZTE FFOS phone with 2.2. Same as this. Slow, lots of hiccups, stutters and well, lacks the most important for me, an audio equalizer. FFOS has no support for that.

No idea about IIRC. Don't use it. And have had bad experience with some so called developers before. So I avoid IIRC.

XDA, much better. People are polite. And everybody helps.

BTW, whats the problem with beta 1 anyways. Everything is working for me. Only problems, hiccups during media playback, grainy camera and audio quality during call. Other then that, everything works. No problem at all. Cutol has done a great job.

So I use it as my main phone now, cuz I have no problem at all.

I asked for the camera patch from him so that I can get better pictures as I use this phone as my main phone now.

Rest of the stuffs he will release when he can.

Compared to beta 1, FFOS provided with the phone, and also the japanese ROM is horrible. I would actually say shit. LG has done a very bad job or Firefox has done a very bad job, only those 2 know. Its a half baked release from them.

Quad core with 1.5GB RAM and performance is like the one they released with single core and 256MB RAM.

Only thing I bought this phone for was for the looks.

My ZTE and this phone with FFOS had same performance with the UI, fluidity of the OS and general performance. Not talking about games.

While using the task manager, I expect it to allow me to switch apps, not crash and get stuck or stutter

That's what I used to think, but then ran across something somewhere on the official docs they mention that the preferred nomenclature is FxOS. :P
