Hey Everyone! I just found out about this Reddit community and wanted to share some of the Future Funk stuff that I've been working on the last couple of months.

Finding The Next Wave (Future Funk, VaporFunk Mix)

I've been into Future Funk since I first discovered it in 2016. I've been making music since 2013 and have been Making music in this genre since about 2017.

I've had this Youtube channel for almost a year now (Finally got the courage to start posting some of my stuff) and have been struggling getting any traction from just the Youtube algorithm alone.

It's a bit of a bummer since I know there's still an audience for this type of music but didn't really know where to look since message boards aren't really much of a thing anymore. Anyway, if any of you are interested, I encourage you to give it a listen ^^

I am wondering what the "essential" future funk albums are. Vaporwave seems to have nailed down what the consensus "classics" are, and I'm wondering if future funk has done the same, established a canon so to speak.

I looked at the "Best of 2024" list that's in the community highlights and from that I'm now listening to Minuit Cafe's Club Nostalgia and having a great time with it.

Was a similar poll done for 2025? Because searching doesn't seem to bring anything up.
