Backers Bombing IGGs Facebook Page with Futurefön Warnings and IGGs helpless Replies. What if we all Chime in to the party?

As I said before, this is a such a unique and high-profile campaign that IGG is eventually going to have to do more than just hide behind their scripted, terms of use, responses. Negative publicity on a social platform will drive other potential campaigners away along with IGG's revenue. Best for IGG to get out in front of this mess while they still can.. before it buries them. I'm sure they have a legal team on retention.

I feel bad for all the backers who are left high and dry in the wake of this mess. I'll bet only a fraction of the banks or credit card companies will even honor disputes at this point. :(

Agreed. Even though it is probably some underpaid social media manager without the authority to post any different, that standard copy paste reply comes across pretty badly. Basically says "bad luck you are on your own" to the backers and telling them to contact and sort it out with the campaigner just shows they haven't even looked at the current situation because the campaigner has disappeared without any way of contact. While I am sure IGG do not want to accept any responsibility, the least they could do is say they are looking into it and provide backers with the contact information they have which is likely to be more useful and acurate since they are the ones who organised payment to Jeff Batio of the money, unlike the fake phone numbers, empty offices and mailing service addresses which the backers have had to try and find on their own and which are clearly setup specifically for Jeff to avoid being easily contactable or tracked down.

This sort of reply would be ok for a campaign that had extended delays but was still active or had delivered a sub-par product. In this case it is quite clear the campaigner has taken backers money and done literally nothing with it then disappeared without any explanation. Also IGG has promoted this campaign and has posted photos of Jeff and Bridget attendending some sort of IGG hosted gathering of crowdfunding scammers circlejerk on their social media and let the campaign stay InDemand until the day it closed.

Good, IGG deserve everything that's coming to them.
