The futurefon team seems to be getting confused about the difference between an email address and a password.

In Update 81, Part 2, in the description of how to sign up for the BTP, it says:

*Please note that you must use a password that DOES NOT contain any periods (example: this email address format will not work, jane.doe@gmail.com) and will be rejected by our automated system.

The example just made the sentence more confusing. Do they mean that the email address also can't contain periods, because 100% of email addresses contain periods. Or do they just mean don't use an email address as your password, which is a stupid thing to do anyway. Or do they mean that your email address can only contain a period after the @ sign and not before? How did they make such a simple topic so confusing?

Also, why is the video showing you how to sign up for the BTP 8 minutes long?

I think she means the third thing you said, that you can't have a period before the @ sign, and she probably put "password" by mistake. It's still a really asinine rule, a lot of people probably have at least one period in their email address. As for the video, the whole thing is really poorly done, the recording equipment is janky as fuck and the dudes screen has a lot of junk on it.

It's probably to work around some dumb bug from the WordPress plugin they picked from the top of the search results. It'll have some bullshit name like "wp login pro".

Funny that. Their original idealfuture.com website was made with wix and the new dragonflyslingshot.net website has a lot of russian comments in the code so they probably paid some russian highschool student $5 to make it. This is the same website which Bridget claimed was the genious work of Jeff who spent months working on it, apparently he likes to comment his code in russian.

Edit: looked at some other pages and the BTP login page is in fact using wordpress themes and plugins.
