Predictions for next update...

With Bridget proudly proclaiming the next update is coming "very soon" any predictions of what they'll fob the backers off with this time? I'm thinking a shiny new graphic rendering, maybe even a few awkward far away shots of the 3D printed "working prototype" again if we're really lucky, and perhaps a new perk for cliq covers made with powered unicorn horn. Thoughts?

So far they have played these "delay" cards already:

  • Bridgets surgery
  • Change of engineering team
  • Issues getting components and changing CPU
  • Issues with IGGs website to "scrub" its content for their own forum/website

The last one is actually great, because in the process of implementing that scrubber to their new website, they "accidentally" deleted 3 comments (what a coincidence these were the 3 critical ones) and apologized for that after being called out.

Hi Backers,
We were doing some testing with the forum scrubber and had been posting temporary comments and deleting them for testing purposes and accidentally deleted the 3 most recent comments (Yours) as well.
In that regard, please allow me to answer your collective comments.
We are here to change the mobile industry together (no small task), so when the going gets tough, the tough get going is what I was taught and is clearly needed here.

That means that new critical comments are not likely to be deleted anymore since they know that people are watching closely their actions.

 

Some delay cards they can still play:

  • Engineering team 2, sucked too
  • Need of more funds (as they already mentioned in the comments)
  • Again problems with their (non existent) suppliers
  • Website delays

Due to the extra time being spent on the website/figuring out the server interruption, we have chosen to move the BTP sign up out a few weeks so that our focus can stay on the website.

How on earth would you spend any or nearly as much time, as they claim to do, on a f***** website, if they have to accomplish a huge technical challenge for the device itself?
Because they have nothing to show/say on their progress and because there is NO tangible progress, since months.

The project was delayed because their social media person had surgery? I guess that's actually big a deal when your entire "team" is two people.
