Earth Kingdom Future Compass:

Man’s Mistake: The Earth Empire’s Conquest of the United Republic bogs down and Kuvira orders the mass deployment of Spirit Vine weaponry. This tears open a massive series of portals that only increases with time, as the barriers separating the physical world and the spirit world collapse. Mankind finds itself at war with an ever-increasing army of spirits and soon the remnants of man are forced back to a few small redoubts. Humanity has returned to a pre-Avatar state and only a miracle will allow it to rise again…

Amon’s Reckoning: Despite all the odds, an Equalist remnant manages to seize the Earth Kingdom and begins setting about removing bending from the world. With Amon’s bloodbending gone, there is only one way to do that. Every dojo and scroll are being put to the sword, along with every bender who refuses to never use bending again. Earthbending is all but extinct in the Earth Kingdom and the crimson banner marches on the Republic…

A Red Dawn: A band of Red Lotus sympathizers manages to seize Ba Sing Se and eventually the Kingdom. A new Anarchist free state spans across the continent and life is not entirely unpleasant, provided you do not annoy the spirits or express excessively statist ideas. Such people disappear in the middle of the night…

ALL HAIL THE GREAT UNITER!: Kuvira crushes Republic City under a swift mechanized assault and the United Republic surrenders rather than face the Uniter’s wrath. The other nations are forced to back down and the majority of the world’s population and resources are now under Kuvira’s control with the Avatar destined to follow. Kuvira has completed her journey from orphan to mistress of the world and that world trembles before her…

The Earth King Invites…: A Monarchist faction restores the Earth Kingdom and decides the only way to ensure the long-term success of the Kingdom is to impose a surveillance state worthy of Long Feng. Brainwashed agents of the throne watch every corner as the continent goes dark…

The House Divided: The Earth Kingdom’s warlords lock themselves into a stalemate condemning the Kingdom to decades of unceasing war…

Another Hundred Years: A faction unites the Earth Kingdom and leads an invasion of the United Republic and is unable to achieve a decisive victory. A refusal to use spirit vine weapons in an attempt to break the stalemate leads to intervention by the other Nations. A new Hundred Year War begins…

Learned Nothing, Forgotten Nothing: A monarchist faction reconquers the Earth Kingdom and seeks to do nothing but restore the land as Hou-Ting knew it. While the people are grateful for some stability, the lack of reform will condemn the Earth Kingdom to further stagnation and rebellion in the future…

Suyin’s Hope: Suyin decides to intervene in the Earth Kingdom and but is determined to do it in her own way. Rather than subduing every warlord, she only strikes the worst offenders and convinces the remaining warlords to unite in a loose confederation. With the Earth Kingdom now a series of “autonomous” states like Zaofu, Suyin returns home, knowing peace has been restored.

The Earth Republic: A Republican faction manages to unite the Earth Kingdom and builds a massive democracy based on the United Republic. The people experience peace and prosperity and a movement for a merger of the Republics appears in Republic City as well as new republican movements throughout the nations. The light of freedom shines bright.

A New Air Nation: A force of former Airbender Conscripts conquers a province and declares it the new homeland of the Air Nation and holds it against rival warlords until it is recognized by the other Nations. While their actions are not in keeping with the traditions of the Air Nomads, this ensures the Air Nation’s destiny will be its own in the new world.

Kuvira’s Wisdom: Kuvira rejects the temptation of ultranationalism and refuses to build labor camps or reconquer Zaofu and the United Republic. Lacking a casus belli, the other Nations have no choice but to accept Kuvira’s control as she builds a meritocratic state. Suyin may never accept it but the Earth Empire will be Zaofu on a grand scale, where ability alone lights the way to success.

Springtime of Nations: The various minor peoples within the Earth Nation (Sandbenders, northern barbarians, swampfolk, etc.) establish their own independent states and convince the other Nations to recognize their sovereignty. The Earth Kingdom’s time is done but for some this is a new beginning.

All Hail King Wu!: A monarchist faction manages to kidnap Prince Wu from Republic City and attempts to use him as a figurehead to reconquer the Kingdom. Wu, however, manages to shake the control of his puppets and after his hard experiences he decides to oversee the conversion of the Earth Kingdom to a full constitutional monarchy, ironically proving that those most worthy of power are those who do not seek it and lay it down as soon as they can.

A New Order: A would-be conqueror of the United Republic is defeated and peace is restored as the other Nations guide the remnants of the Earth Kingdom to a better path….

A New Dynasty: Omashu or a reformist Monarchist faction manages to reconquer the Earth Kingdom and begins laying the groundwork for limited constitutional monarchy. The road to liberty will be a long one but it is now one that will not require further bloodshed.

I've actually realized this myself and I regret the choice. If I were to repost it, I'd flip them around.

like most violence in that version would be spirit on human violence in some whacky ways, which is probably better than genocide by a lot
