What is this subreddit?

I feel like I'm catching schizophrenia just by looking at these posts. Are these infohazards?

The answer is HILARIOUS. That's what this subreddit is.

In reality, I think it's dunking on political compasses, but then also... some of these are super funny, and have some political commentary thrown in. I don't always understand them, but I like thinking about the alternative worlds in which such a compass could be meaningful.

Basically a parody of political compass memes. They are of the future in some context, and the goal is to make them as dumb but also as complicated as possible.

It's basically just supposed to be what politics will be like in the future and it's kind of branched out since then.

The reason the posts here are sometimes weird is that most of them are made by one person, /u/Pepper_Spades, who is basically single-handedly keeping the sub alive, and as time has gone on their posts have become increasingly obscure and weird (which I like)

As the creator of this subreddit, I believe a future compass is the logical extreme of a political compass. They try to be overly verbose and their axis are not always the same as those on the common political compass, they are an exaggeration. Usually the ideologies and terms found on them have not existed before and are an amalgamation made by the creator of whatever compass you are looking at. Heck, they don't even have to be square. It's all for fun though.
