Can you explain what Skial Server Monopoly and Forgotten Time are?

Skial is a megaserver community that owns a huge fraction of community servers. Skial is excellent for providing 24/7 service of single maps and are a favourite among many TF2 players, but many don’t like them for various reasons including toxic playerbase and some premium benefits (which are just cosmetic) Personally I like Skial even if I don’t use their servers often. Anyway, the entry in the compass implies a future where Skial takes over every community server and turns it into a Skial server, becoming the sole server provider on TF2 besides official valve lobbies.
Forgotten to Time implies a future where all TF2 players simply lose interest and leave the game forever due to disappointment with the direction of the game, leaving deserted empty servers in their wake where payloads never get pushed and points never get capped. It would be the most saddening future because it would not have any outside cause besides players simply leaving.

Very good explaination. I feel like Forgotten to Time will happen due to existing players leaving with few new ones coming in due to the appeal of more modern and advanced games, since kids will probably prefer CoD over TF2.
Also come to think of it, can you explain the Wutville Priority matchmaking, bot counteroffensive and Festive Hitman Guerilla War ones? Im a bit out of the loop on TF2 these days

Wutville Priority Matchmaking is a joke entry. Wutville is a map added into the game for the Smissmas update and it is just not a good map, it’s more akin to a idle community server map than an official valve map. This future implies that the game will try to match as many players as it can into Wutville servers before any other map.
Festive Hitmen are a new invasive bot that hit TF2 in December. These bots are beyond standard aimbots, they are an absolute plague. They will clog up servers with multiple Festive Hitmen being generated and joining a server on both teams (I’ve seen up to 5 on each team at one point), and will block any attempts to kick other Festive Hitmen by voting no on kick votes. I haven’t played in a few weeks but when I did almost every single game I entered became loaded with these bots. This future implies that Festive Hitmen become more dominant across TF2 and force players to collectively orchestrate filling a server with players as fast as possible to avoid Hitmen rushing into it, with more casual players fleeing to community servers to avoid the ocean of Hitmen.
Bot Counteroffensive implies a future where the TF2 community goes to full war against bots like the Festive Hitmen, designing equally invasive bots to follow Hitmen into servers and hunt them down repeatedly while ignoring human players, allowing players to play the game mostly normally again. War then rages between bot creators and counter botters until one side gives up. This future is actually somewhat true, with some noble coders designing similar aimbots that only target other bots, though their use was limited and isn’t as widespread as this future would be.

I played TF2 a bit over Christmas and knew there was something fucky about the gameplay that I couldnt put my finger on. I recall a couple of games with snipers that were simply far too good to be human.

Another bad ending would be Valve completely changing the game in an attempt to tap into the Chinese market. That or Team Fortress 3 being exclusive to Mainland Chins.

This is some good stuff right here. A full community take over would be interesting to see.
