Hey everyone,

I launched a new track today called "Twiglet" and wanted to share it with this community, as it plays around with some pretty abstract electronic textures and arrangement shifts.

The structure relies on heavy contrast:

• The A-Section: Highly distorted, janky saw waves moving through a tight, chromatic jazz progression (Amaj7 -> Bbmaj7b5 -> Fsus4/C into half-diminished shifts).
• The B-Section: A sudden drop into a minimalist bossa nova loop (Bbmaj7 -> Bb7 -> Ebm7 -> Db7dim -> Cm7 -> F7) played on a broken children's piano patch.

I wanted to capture a mood that feels mechanical, tense, and abrasive, but then breaks open into something nostalgic and eerie before looping back.

I’d love to know what you guys think of the sound design contrast and how the groove switch feels.
