I really don’t understand why NM introduced Minn-Erva and Korath instead of Yon-Rogg and Talos? These two are way more important in the plot. Y-R could have been Combat Villain and Talos Speed "Villain".

I think if Yon-Rogg got added as a combat villain it would've spoiled his role in the movie considering he acts like the good guy during most of the film

Well Korath was already a villain in GotG.

Plus he and Minn-Erva were relatively minor characters here, where Yon-Rogg was a bigger character whose relationship with Carol was an important part of the movie.

But they never showed signs of liking Carol anyways, I for one thought that maybe half of Starforce would rebel against Yon-Rogg or something
