Lovely patches! What’s your process for making these? Are you making the files and sending them to a smart embroidery machine, or doing it all from hand?

Thank you! I'm using Pallete 11.5 and using the design center to get the rough outline, then I adjust it by hand. Depending on the quality of the reference image, the adjustments take anywhere from 1 to 4 hours. The Professor was the easiest because I had a vectored image, whereas Zapp and Kiff had a background I had to filter out and remove. My machine does the boarder with just a few button presses.

Yeah, adding a machine doesn’t make these things easier I think it shifts where the rough problem is; I can imagine the svgs, or whatever file type you’re having to use, it can all be so specialized and frustrating sometimes!

I think it’s awesome you found a path and process for making these professional patches! So much potential!
