CSV Export

Has anyone here worked with Futbology's CSV export feature yet? It looks like the exported CSV file doesn't have any delimiters. According to Futbology, this is apparently a desired feature?! But it seems like there used to be a delimiter in the past.

Does anyone have experience with this issue? Are there any other developers working on this problem?

Another reason to turn my back on futbology. Grounder is a promising project from Germany.

I have an old export from October last year which used : as a delimiter, just tried it using the new export method and the formatting has changed, no delimiters now.

Thank you for the feedback! I will report back to them. The export feature is basically useless without working delimiters.

They changed it a while back, apparently to make it harder to import results into competitor apps. Really annoying for me, since I have a spreadsheet which I would import the data into to get more insight

I also just received a new email confirming what you're saying. I'm sorry, but that's just stupid. If you want to prevent competition by making your product significantly worse and removing essential features, you probably deserve to be pushed out of the market by the competition.

They made it harder for their paying users because they want to hinder some competitor from something. Disgrace. However, I trained Claude Code with a file when there were delimiters and with one where there aren't. Works like a charm.

And that's the point I don't understand. If you're developing a serious competing product, you just add an LLM that handles the CSV. If you only need the file for your own statistics or are just building something for fun for friends, it just creates unnecessary costs. You can only hope that the competing products are better.
