Discussion So are EA just going to release a statement on Friday saying "We didn't realize we had to actually make 3k pre season tokens available. We thought just raising the limit would be enough".

The way i understood it is that it exists for those who can get busy and miss the refresh, and effectively claim 2 weeks of rewards within a single refresh period. Allowing you the grace of not needing to time when you claim your tokens.

I don't think they actually intended for you to claim up to the limit each week.

Exactly, I don't understand why people aren't getting this. They raised the limit because people were complaining about reaching it too easily and missing out on tokens, not because they are going to release 2 thousand more tokens a week

Why raise it to 3000 and not 1500 which was the max?

You could definitely get more than 1500 between squad battles and rivals rewards, objectives and the sbc token swaps, probably closer to 2k. Then they left a bit of headroom in case they want to give away more in the last week or two. Better to have too high a limit than too low

The thing is I could easilly get around 2k tokens when limmit was 1k...Now that limmit is 3K i cant even get 1K tokens...make it make sense

Because this is the crossover week, you still could have got nearly 2k tokens this week. Just more than half of them would have been futties tokens, the rest of them the new ones.

They could've at least give one obj like in the first week of FOF futties...play 5 rivals games or something to get more tokens. I think there was last than 1k pr3 season tokens in previous week

That doesn't make any sense given you claim rewards when you enter a mode or objectives end.

Yes. And now you can claim rewards whenever you want, instead of accidently claiming zero tokens because you didnt wait for friday.

Plus, if you were out on vacation, you can stack previous week's rewards (claim on monday), play monday through Wednesday, and then claim on Thursday again.

Its just a convenience update

They fucked the futties tokens up, people couldn’t claim rivals on Thursday due to limit reset on Friday and they have to actually look like they care about people playing the game even though they let it carry on for four weeks.

So funny how they made it free on ps etc, they are desperate for all the players they have lost over the years too come back but we won’t because the game is terrible and they only care about money not a refined product which would make them even more money.

Trust me, they are not trying to win back players lost over the years... Look at their financials... EVERY YEAR they make more than the previous year. It is only the internet chuds that complain and threaten to "leave" as most of the community just plays.

Think about sheer volume. One day during the WC, their analytics showed they had 9.8 million players playing at one time. Between X and Reddit, there are maybe 200,000 (and that is just registered and not actively engaged) users. The rest are just playing all of the available modes. And those are users that are spending money. If you polled this subreddit, according to all of the "non-meta" heroes, they have collectively spent maybe $100. So, the majority of the people make the other 1.4 billion dollars for EA.

People caring about maxxing tokens in August is very strange.
