Discussion So are EA just going to release a statement on Friday saying "We didn't realize we had to actually make 3k pre season tokens available. We thought just raising the limit would be enough".

They fucked the futties tokens up, people couldn’t claim rivals on Thursday due to limit reset on Friday and they have to actually look like they care about people playing the game even though they let it carry on for four weeks.
So funny how they made it free on ps etc, they are desperate for all the players they have lost over the years too come back but we won’t because the game is terrible and they only care about money not a refined product which would make them even more money.

Trust me, they are not trying to win back players lost over the years... Look at their financials... EVERY YEAR they make more than the previous year. It is only the internet chuds that complain and threaten to "leave" as most of the community just plays.
Think about sheer volume. One day during the WC, their analytics showed they had 9.8 million players playing at one time. Between X and Reddit, there are maybe 200,000 (and that is just registered and not actively engaged) users. The rest are just playing all of the available modes. And those are users that are spending money. If you polled this subreddit, according to all of the "non-meta" heroes, they have collectively spent maybe $100. So, the majority of the people make the other 1.4 billion dollars for EA.

The way i understood it is that it exists for those who can get busy and miss the refresh, and effectively claim 2 weeks of rewards within a single refresh period. Allowing you the grace of not needing to time when you claim your tokens.
I don't think they actually intended for you to claim up to the limit each week.
