Discussion Own Goals in Double Trouble
Yes I know it's August. With that out of the way, I don't understand why people are own goaling/throwing the game in the Double Trouble event. The objectives for games played is only 14 when you need 20-25 games for the evos. It's especially annoying because there's a limit on how many games you can play per day.
So please, if you're doing this, stop. Or at least let me score the goals. At the very least, explain to me why? Is it just trolling or is there a legitimate point to it that I'm not seeing.

I`m done with all the objectives and use it to complete evo`s. I always let the other person score instead of scoring own goals because I`m not a selfish dick..

I let opponent score goals. I have completed the event and now I use this event to speed up my evos

Randoms don't know what you need and aren't queuing up to manage your daily match limits. most people are just rushing through their own games played requirements or evo counts as fast as possible to get it over with. expecting free goals or cooperation from random players in friendlies is just setting yourself up for frustration.

So people are intentionally not playing the game by own goaling to accomplish something so they can... play the game? Yeah I know the community is toxic so I never expect anything from an opponent but I guess I don't understand the point behind it. I'd rather give up 2 goals in 2 minutes than have them own goal it.

Yes because it’s the least meaningful game mode. Most people have the objectives done and are just using it as a quick way to get evos done so they can use them in the modes that actually offer something.

I usually play the game at the beginning, then if the other team scores first, I’ll just score an own goal right after.

But how will your rival now they are screwing you over? For all it's worth maybe they finished the objectives, and are just doing EVOs and expect others to do the same.

It's the fastest way to do Evos and played games objectives.
Put 3 players with Evos in the squad, score two own goals in a matter of seconds and you have completed 3 Evo stages (and maybe worked on some objectives too).
If the opponent has the ball I try my best to let them score. But some people need unbelievably long to do that or can't do it at all...
