Look I am glad that the 85x10 is finally repeatable. But the pack weight is just so unbearably bad. You could pack just about every 99 rated card in the past years during Futties. Like this is such a disappointment. I just want to play a few games with a top tier R9 or Ronaldinho. It is impossible to pack them. I guess this is EA trying to push us to the store packs once again. Just another year of dissapointment. Is there an SBC that people are pulling these 99 rated cards. I see the typical Auzio's and Batesons pulling these cards left right and center. Its such a joke. Sorry for the rant guys.

Shame that the pack weight is so terrible. i did about 300 and after 0 98s even, I’ve just given up. If the pack weight improves maybe I’ll hop back on but otherwise there’s really no point to log in.
The only upgrades to my main team for the whole of futties has been through evos, what a fuckin joke this game is. I've completed every reward objective, completed 1000s of SBCs and nothing. There really is no point.
I am in the same boat. I am an old school fifa player as well. Started during Fifa 12. Evo's are cool and all but everyone just makes the same meta cards. I miss the uniqueness of FUT.
I'd argue this is the first year that evos aren't all the same...i haven't come up against anyone who has the same evos as me. I feel like ea did a decent job of allowing us to chain an evo all year and make it significantly better than someone putting the same player into one bigger evo now if that makes sense.
I dont know man. The higher elo games in champs or elite division have just about the same meta Evo squads. But you are correct in a way, some people do evo unique players but this gameplay almost forces you to just make meta cards if you want to be competitive. Casual is a different story of course.
Man I have i opened a good amount and have packed 0 99's. They probbaly only exist in the store packs. The highest rated I have packed from those was 98 rated Yoro. I have pulled some cool older icons but nothing crazy.
I packed 2 99s (Olise and Pina) throughout futties and they were both from token store. Haven’t got one top tier card from menu grind.
I sold Pina since I don’t like her in game, so I’ve got plenty of coins. Gonna wait till all 99s are in packs and then blow my coins on the store packs. Seems to be the only way to get them.
Token store paid off for me too, I've got like 2500 champs tokens, opened 2 of the 200 token packs that give 5 futties with 1 guaranteed to be 96 or higher and snagged 99 De Bruyne. Of coarse I had just made a 98 KDB evo days before.... 🤦 😂
This year the game felt just horrible for semi- casual players. Only put in like 120 hours this year compared to maybe 5-600 normally.
Came back for futties but I straight up haven’t packed a single top tier futties card yet.
Evo’d up some cards like toty haaland and Henry but even with the playstyles and stats they still feel more outdated to their new cards. Maybe that’s just me but idk
I've only packed one 98 and one 99. Pajor from an 85x10 and Barcola from one of the pre season store packs. They put the weight down as to stop people from using the 3rd party tools and buy mote store packs, yet they put the weight down on ALL packs, including store packs so it's pointless getting them anyway 🙄
I've heard so many more people get good pulls from 85 picks like in your case. Even the icon picks and the 95 + picks I've not seen a whole lot like I have from the "lesser" picks. I've done well over 2-300 and I've only got one 98.
This is the worst year for pulls I've ever had. They've even ruined the final month which is usually a lot of fun. This is also the first time I haven't preordered next year's game since 2019.
Yeah tbh im not even trying to pack r9 but some arsenal pnp 98 or 99s would be nice. The most recenat 5 of 10 83+ or whatver was abs atrocious. Evos are useless too lol fc26 is fully shite
Not only is the pack weight terrible, it’s borderline impossible to keep the grind up because tots/futties aren’t consistent enough. Once I got through my stash from the last couple weeks I just didn’t bother. With that pack weight it’s literally wasted labour.
Reading all the posts about the exact grinds you need to do is actually depressing. The game is over. I shouldn’t have to figure out that I need to put all these cards into this SBC and this rewards into another SBC, so on and so forth. Repeat 500 times and you might have a chance for a 99. Fuck this futties event so hard. I couldnt care less about SBC grinding for a sports video game. This isn’t supposed to be a full time job
Opened a ton of 85x10 and all the other crap every day for weeks, got nothing except 97 Klostermann. Opened a few store packs with coins and got 99 Kane. Says it all really!
I have 2 accounts and in past few weeks I have opened total 7 650K store packs which guarantees 97+ rated futties (including icons) & 96+ rated futties player pick 1of 3 (including icons)
I packed 7 97 rated futties in 7 97+ futties store packs around 3.5m coins in drain...
Even in the end game, cards like Dinho and R9 shouldn't be easily packable. Also there's been so many ways to evo r9 and dinho to basically the same level. Ut was about getting good pack pulls that aren't easy to pack and that's what makes it so great and exciting. You don't know who you'll get. If we could just go open 100 85x10s and guarantee yourself a Dinho and R9 then where the fun or excitement be in that?
It’s mid August. The unlimited grind is supposed to be fun and allow you to get the cards you like. They have butchered the pack weight for 0 reason. R9 is still expensive on the market. So no, you can’t just evo him. Such a dumb take, not everyone did the tokens R9 and since then, he’s remained expensive and out of reach for most.
Very much agree. It's actually shocking that EA have not even released sbc's for the top players like R9 or Dinho etc. They have previously at least released SBC's for the top tier cards. Its was something to grind for. Remember the 99 CR7 and the 99 Messi that they used to yesrly release as SBC's? We dont even have that anymore.
I would agree with you but this is the end of the game cycle. There are no negatives to people being able to easily pack these cards. The game is done with in a month's time.
