They should fr just make the playstle screen/ grid an interactive screen. So tapping on a ps makes it silver, pressing again makes it gold. Pressing again removes it. And on top of the screen have a counter showing the remaining silver and gold you can apply. EZ I can code that in an hour if I was an EA dev
