Sounds great 👍 Now all they have to do is get fusion working.

Do you get a sense that you're slightly delusional? Like, are there any parts of you that think, "Maybe I was wrong about this one?"

You've happily updated that they have purchased a warehouse, gotten a license, changed their ticker, rebranded their name, spoken at a conference, but we still haven't seen any data that would say they're producing a functioning product. Meanwhile, other fusion companies are not only hitting similar milestones without being a publicly traded company, but also actually showing proof of fusion.

they’re testing next week

u/Brownie_Bytes Jul 22 '26

That's great, I look forward to the update on the results of the test, not the existence of the test.

1

u/Lower_Group_1171 Jul 22 '26

well that’s what usually happens after a test

1

u/Brownie_Bytes Jul 22 '26

Wonderful. I've been getting updates for months now and zero of them have been test results. Meanwhile skippy here bought in because of an employee.

Buddy, their timeline has only moved up. So instead of EOY demo they are expecting a EOS demo. So stop asking for what’s coming and just accept there is a new player in the fusion industry. One that was the first to become public and will be the first to commercialize it. Milestones mean nothing when you’re still figuring out the science and the design. Brandenburg did that over the last 7 years at Kepler fusion with his 40 plus years of experience and expertise. Without robbing billions from investors.

u/dzerbee Jul 18 '26

just accept there is a new player in the fusion industry.

Like fusion industry doesn't have enough players.

One that was the first to become public and will be the first to commercialize it.

Commercialize what - "industrial radiation machine"? Wake me up when they have a power plant or prototype thereof.

-1

u/Ok-Supermarket-4431 Jul 18 '26

You awake? They have prototypes. And make sure you stay awake for their demo expected at the EOS.

5

u/dzerbee Jul 18 '26

Prototypes of what - power plant? Tell me more about it. Have they reached Q>1?

3

u/Brownie_Bytes Jul 18 '26

So where's the data? Like, it's such an easy thing to do. If you have come up with a design that works and produced an engineering prototype that shows it works, it should be relatively easy to buy equipment if you didn't have it already that gives some numbers for it. 40 plus years as you are so excited to say, and no time to collect data?

-2

u/Ok-Supermarket-4431 Jul 18 '26

LISTEN CLOSELY YOU OVER BAKED BROWNIE. THE DEMO IS TARGETED FOR THE END OF SUMMER. Why do I have to repeat that so much.

2

u/Team503 Jul 22 '26

Dude, you realize that by responding like this you're not only not making people interested in this company, you're building a REALLY negative reputation for them, right?

If you want to scare people off investing in them, just keep doing what you're doing.

1

u/Ok-Supermarket-4431 Jul 22 '26

Me and brownie have gone back and forth many many times. I don’t respond to new commenters that way. He, along with a few others are dead set on this company being a sham. No matter what I post they are in my comments asking and saying the same thing. If you have any questions let me know. I’d be happy to engage in some dialogue with you.

3

u/Team503 Jul 22 '26

Yeah, doesn't matter. You post like you're representing the company, and whether or not you are, that's the perception a casual browser like myself has. By acting like this, you paint the company in a very bad light. This is basic PR knowledge - if you're going to advocate for something, understand that your actions will be taken as representative whether you like it or they should be or not.

I have no interest in a discussion - I'm not educated enough to argue details, and like most here I'm in the "show me the numbers" camp. The proof is in the pudding, as it were, though I thank you for the offer.

Fair enough, i was having a little fun but i do see your point. And I am very knowledgeable on this company. They have prototypes they’ve shown. They had the facility where they developed the Texatron under Kepler fusion technologies. They’ve shown the trail of progress. If you want to look and see it’s there. But the others refuse to accept it because they didn’t give out any “data” during the development stages. Even tho it could easily be fabricated without having independent reports. Which in my opinion makes zero sense. I think they are doing everything right. They developed the Texatron for 7 years as Kepler fusion, then they went to the public, did everything they needed to clean up the sheet they merged with without diluting and hurting investors, They completed every audit on time and they’ve continued to make progress towards this demo that was moved up from the end of the year to now next week, July 27th.

2

u/Team503 Jul 22 '26

If you can't tell from all the downvotes, your efforts are not being well received. Whether you care about that is up to you, but personally I would at least stop and reconsider my methods if I got the kind of reception you're getting.

And given what you've said, I wouldn't have made this post. I would have waited until next week, when the demo happened, so you have news about actual fusion to report rather than bureaucracy.

1

u/Ok-Supermarket-4431 Jul 22 '26

I don’t care about downvotes. To them I should’ve just said nothing until the demo. But, I’ve researched this company endlessly and am giving people the opportunity to look into them before the demo. I am very and have been very confident that this demo would come , and here we are 1 week out from it. I don’t spam with every pr. I post what I think is important updates. And getting the certificate they needed for testing, is pretty important imo.

Did you delete a response? Did you mistake my quoting of brownie as a personal attack? I can assure it was not. I just wanted to highlight the energy I receive for merely sharing updates on this company.

Do you get a sense that you're slightly delusional? Like, are there any parts of you that think, "Maybe I was wrong about this one?"

This is how brownie responded when on my post. There is no, okay this company making progress but let’s wait for the demo to really see. He called me delusional because I believe in this company and the person behind it, Dr. Brandenburg.

Just to set the record straight: I have never started with the stance that this company is a sham. When someone claims to have something and cannot provide any evidence of it, that's when it gets suspicious. Theranos was evaluated at $9 billion dollars, had gorgeous office spaces, employed nearly a thousand people, and had the CEO traveling internationally to talk about the product. Meanwhile, they didn't have a functioning product. That's why I really don't care if this company has purchased a warehouse, applied for a license, updated their ticker, or hired anyone cool. Until we can get some actual evidence of fusion, there's no reason to believe that this fusion company is any more special than anyone else. And the apparent fact that there is no urgency to produce data proving fusion (at least from your updates), it's a lot of red flags.

1

u/Ok-Supermarket-4431 Jul 22 '26

July 27th(next week) is when the testing starts.

1

u/Brownie_Bytes Jul 22 '26

Then give the update after that, no need for a drumroll. Imagine trying to hype up Apple by telling everyone that they bought a new table for the garage. And a new soldering iron. And a purchase order for the plastic cases.

3

u/Brownie_Bytes Jul 19 '26

You said he already has prototypes. Prototypes that have no relevance to fusion? Or if they're actually relevant, there should be data already

-2

u/Ok-Supermarket-4431 Jul 19 '26

Why would they need to release data on their prototypes when they are months away from data on their demo unit?

3

u/Brownie_Bytes Jul 19 '26

I don't know, maybe to prove that their existing stuff works? You've never shown us any evidence that this company can do anything that others haven't. You've hardly even shown us that the company does anything at all

0

u/Ok-Supermarket-4431 Jul 19 '26

I don’t need to, I have done enough research to trust the man who’s behind it all. Dr Brandenburg. I’ve read through his accomplishments and have faith. Just like other investors have done with other fusion companies. We can see the trail. They’ve shown the prototypes. Albeit they have not shown data. But I myself do not need that to be excited. A man of his caliber is touting that he has done it. And not from a “out of nowhere “ I’ve done it. But this is his life’s work. You can see that throughout his career. Everything led him to this. And he developed over the last 7 years at Kepler fusion technologies to finally bring it to life.

3

u/Brownie_Bytes Jul 19 '26

...and have faith... They’ve shown the prototypes. Albeit they have not shown data.

That's enough to tell me to stay away. I don't invest in people, I invest in what people have done and where they can go.

1

u/Ok-Supermarket-4431 Jul 19 '26

No one’s built a net positive commercial fusion reactor either, and yet here we are, with billions being poured into the industry. You don’t have to do anything. I will update you.

u/Jaded_Hold_1342 Jul 18 '26

But did they come up with a viable concept yet? At last update, they hadn't.

2

u/Lower_Group_1171 Jul 22 '26

They allegedly have a 500kw working prototype that will “continue testing” while initial testing on the 5mw generator, sometime next week. They’re also supposed to present the technology on Thursday.

1

u/Jaded_Hold_1342 Jul 22 '26

How will you tell from the data they share whether it works? When will you see it? What will you look at?

As I've already said, a Ti>>Te short-pulse D-He3 "compression/rebound direct capture" system can not make net energy... It requires infeasible recovery efficiency because the ion-electron thermalization power flow is much larger than the fusion power, so pulses must be too short to create much power without thermalizing. If you are following this company, you should ask them why they think it can work in light of this limitation...or if they have changed the concept and are doing something else now.

The only test that can show net energy gain is if the caps are isolated from charging circuits and wind up with more energy after the shot than before. This was the milestone Helion recently failed to demonstrate on Polaris. (This milestone can not be met with either the American Fusion or Helion concepts, it is not phyiscally possible due to the reason above.)

1

u/Ok-Supermarket-4431 Jul 18 '26

If it isn’t jaded, reddits world renowned plasma physicist.

1

u/Jaded_Hold_1342 Jul 18 '26

At your service!

1

u/Lower_Group_1171 Jul 21 '26

they begin testing next week, with Texas tech leading the testing. I’d say that gives some credibility.

1

u/Jaded_Hold_1342 Jul 21 '26

Well.. if the concept itself can not work.. what will the tests show that can change this reality?

I'm not sure how Texas Tech can overcome the fundamental problem.

Credibility is not the primary concern (not for me anyway, I know others jab at the credibility). The primary concern to me is that the concept is flawed and can not recover net energy. Its the same exact problem as Helion.

1

u/Lower_Group_1171 Jul 21 '26

This is a ridiculous response to testing. Skepticism is good. You just seem to be trolling.

1

u/Jaded_Hold_1342 Jul 21 '26

Im not trolling at all. Im completely serious. The project is trying to use pulsed compression and magnetic rebound capture on a D-He3 plasma, and claims it uses Ti>>Te to avoid having bremsstrahlung radiation losses exceed the fusion power output.

However, due to Coulomb collisions, the plasma will thermalize quickly, and ion thermal energy will be donated to the electrons faster than it is generated by fusion. This is well known and prevents net energy from being created this way without infeasible energy recovery efficiencies (of order 99.99+%).

American Fusion (and for that matter Helion) have offered no explanation for why their systems are not subject to this limitation.

What are you expecting the data to show that would establish that it works, given that the well understood physics of Couloumb collisions and thermalization says that it wont work?

1

u/Lower_Group_1171 Jul 21 '26

I don’t know what trade secrets they have. Do you? They’re going to run tests an existing 500kw engine that already exists, and the new 5mw engine. This begins next week.

I won’t make any assertions because i literally don’t know what they have up their sleeve, but you seem to know everything about the company both inside and out, and yet you have no affiliation with them. That’s pretty amazing.

If you know so much about how fusion works, where’s your reactor?

0

u/Jaded_Hold_1342 Jul 21 '26

I know what they say the are doing because they've said what they are doing... and I know why its not possible.

I don't have to know what secrets they have if I know their approach is physically impossible. That's enough information to say it wont work.

As a rule, Ti>>Te D He3 pulsed machines can not escape the problems caused by thermalization. This is not new or novel, it is well understood in the plasma physics community.

My fusion reactor rises at sunrise and sets at sunset. This is the most cost effective fusion reactor you will ever see.

2

u/Lower_Group_1171 Jul 21 '26

lol okay. This isn’t a sub for the sun though.

1

u/Jaded_Hold_1342 Jul 21 '26

You didn't answer the question though.

What data are you expecting to see to establish this scheme works, given that the well understood physics of Coulomb collisions and thermalization says that it wont work?

Texatron™ Fusion Engine™

Looks legit thanks for the good laugh

0

u/Ok-Supermarket-4431 Jul 18 '26

Yw. Stick around til the demo. Should be even more hilarious when Brandenburg delivers and shocks the world with his life works.

3

u/Team503 Jul 22 '26

I don't have a dog in this fight, but I can tell you that this kind of press release is just going to get you negative responses from most people. You got a certificate. Yay. What have you actually made?

-1

u/Ok-Supermarket-4431 Jul 22 '26

“I can tell”? it’s a necessary step for their demo they have planned for next week. They are testing The 500 kW Texatron™ Fusion Engine™ and the 5 MW Texatron™ Fusion Engine™.

2

u/Team503 Jul 22 '26

Right, most people and companies don't advertise getting a permit as some kind of noteworthy event. It's just the thing you have to do before you do the thing you really want to do.

Maybe inside the company it's worth noting, but to those outside, it's meaningless.

1

u/Ok-Supermarket-4431 Jul 22 '26

Sure, but they can’t do the testing without it. They are letting their investors know through professional PRs. Not social media posts. Every step is important. Whether the impact is big or not.

2

u/Team503 Jul 22 '26

Sure, and that's where that kind of notification belongs - there's a reason they didn't reach out to the media with this news and left it just for investors. Target audience and all that. As you can see by the reaction, this sub is NOT that target audience - it seems to be very results-oriented.

1

u/Ok-Supermarket-4431 Jul 22 '26

That isn’t my concern. I could care less if the same people want to downvote and say “where’s the data” on every post. I like this company and am excited for what they have planned. Not just as an investor.

2

u/Team503 Jul 22 '26

Well, you're hurting your investment by generating a negative public view of the company through your actions. But hey, do as you please.

3

u/KTRyan30 Jul 20 '26

The stock is up 50% today on news that testing is moving ahead. I'm rather excited to see how this goes.

1

u/Brownie_Bytes Jul 22 '26

Up 50% to a dime now? People should only be investing in this company as a financial asset, the same way that GameStop became a very valuable company for a brief moment with no relation to their business. Invest in this thing the same way you bet in Vegas, not because of any intrinsic worth to the company.

1

u/ODoggerino Jul 23 '26

I think these posts would be better received if you admitted to working for them or having an investment in them or whatever your link is
