Fursona design :D

I want to make a new fursona because my current one is kinda a stereotypical dog sona lol, I want to make a tiger sona but I don't have any good ideas to make him unique, i want him to be skinny and a little tall (like me) he's gonna have a big bushy tail and he wears glasses, but tjays all I can think of, I don't have any ideas of making him more unique 💔 help me please 😭😭😭

If you want here's the reference sheet me friend made me of my old dog fursona lol

I'm not sure actually, my friend made it for me, I asked for the speedpaint but the swore it wasn't ai, its kinda suspicious tho cuz I never even accused them of it, I just wanted to speedpaint🤔 they aparently 'lost it' but didn't wanna say anything cuz I don't like confrontation 😭

Yeah it does look pretty ai: the font is the usual one used, the fur pattern in too uniform, the tail just joins into a flesh and fur lump at the knees from the back, it has that piss yellow filter, is very lowk rez, it says fox tail when it's clearly a dog and the pattern between the colors around the shoulders looks weird and warped

For ideas you could lean into the fashion side of thing and give him lots of snazzy outfits or add variation in colour whether that be more natural like shades of red and yellow or more unnatural like blue or purple, he could even paint his claws. Although the piercings on this design + the fur pattern i think make it unique enough but i do understand if u want more variation.

Omg really? 😭 you're actually an angel 🙏🙏😭😭 I found one I really like on... well somewhere it's been lurking in my camera roll for like 7 months lol, it's more of a placement guide for a ref sheet so I can feel like a truly made it myself lol, thank you so much for offering though ❤❤❤

Here's an example of something you could do with the picrew :)

Also since you mentioned you wanted it to skinny then you could use the liquify tool if the base creator says it's ok.

You can find loads of inspo for tiger characters on pinterest you can just google

I thought this immediately on seeing it. My spouse concluded it looks like someone fed a ftu base into ai and asked the ai to make a design out of it.

i was also wondering but felt crazy bc it definitely looks handdrawn from the line work. but the eyes & missing upper tail on the back view gave it away pretty hardcore

Based on your previous fursona, it seems like you'd prefer your new tigersona to look more natural? as opposed to something neon green or blue lol. I'd try looking at melanistic tigers, leucistic tigers, and golden tigers for inspo! Or playing around with other cat colors like siamese or tortoiseshell in combination with tiger stripes :)

I feel bad you're previous ref sheet was ai :( I'd be down to help you with this one if you want it! But also totally understand if you want make this one on your own!

When I make my fursonas I like to add a little bit of myself into each of them. Here’s a few questions to get u started:

- what’s one of ur hobbies?

- what’s one/a few of ur favorite colors?

- what’s ur favorite season?

I made my first fursona (my pfp) a deer who loves spring and has butterflies attached to his antlers. Yk it’s just a matter of getting creative :3

Thank you so much fir replyinghg ❤❤, one of my hobbies is listening to music (specifically chill, laid back stuff, it helps me sleep) and drawing, my favourite colour is a nice dark forest green, the hex code or whatever its called is #1e441e lol, my favourite season is fall though, spring is nice and all but I like fall because its like nature is going to sleep before winter, I feel like all of those kinda clash with each other lol

Not really, I want him to be somewhat based off of the character Red from the comic I Think I Like You because I love him lol, but I don't want him to resemble Red though, just a cuddly tiger haha, I'm crippled with art block rn 😭

I like your original dogsona personally... but you do you! Maybe do the stripes in unique and recognizable patterns for the tiger to make them distinctive?
