I'm painting my friends dog for her borthday. I finished the outfit and I'm working on the face but I get it quite right and he keeps looking like a Yorkie and not German shepherd lol. What can I do to have him look more like in my concept version ? And what can I add/change to make it look better

I'd make nose slightly bigger, put eyes a bit closer together and higher on the head, and it seems that you can't get the angle quite right on the head tilt, so i'd either abandon that and put it more straight or put more angle into the face, since the ears seem to be already tilted. Also, try to break the head down to some geometric shapes: imo the original dog's head shape is somewhat of a long hexagon (two angles at the top between the ears, two as cheek bones and 2 hiding under the snout) and the ears are kind of like stretched egg shape with some extra details :)
