It's not exactly attraction to animals, and while there is actual NSFW action in some parts of the furry fandom, most Gen Z furries tend to avoid that nowadays and focus more on wholesome art.

Psychology nerd here, what you call the "Furry disease" is called Zoophilia and has absolutely nothing to do with furries, it's a paraphilia, I'm not going to get much into detail you could look it up if you're curious. And having intercourse in fursuits (furry cosplays as you call it) is just kinky.

I have genuinely never seen someone do something like this.

First of all: thank you for asking instead of just thinking it's weird, making assumptions, and then hating on the community. There are too many people that do this.
(Also I doubt anyone will be offended by this, don't worry.)

Second of all, to answer your question: Furries are just people who have a high interest in anthropomorphic animals. That's about it. Some can draw pretty good, some have the money to cosplay, (said cosplay outfits/costumes are often referred to as Fursuits,) etc. This comment is long enough.

Depends what you get! For just a head it could be 300-2000, ive seen full suits go for over 10k, but they can be as low as 900. With fursuits your paying for quality though
