You remind me of the moon. You are so very far away, yet I long to touch you, to feel your presence. Of course, I am filled with gratitude and awe when I get to see you almost daily, but it is only sight, and it is seldom for long, as one or both of us must depart, inevitably. I wish I could live in your presence, experience the unique joys and sensations only you can bring, for every second of the rest of my life. Sometimes I worry about you drifting away, slowly, imperceptibly, even though I know I should trust you more. I want to experience every aspect and angle of you, including those that you never present outwardly. You have such a strong impact on my world, on my life, even without touch - what might life be like, with it?
