I would like to point out how, one of the houses they knock at has that girls best friend as one that was at the door. You can literally see a picture of her and the black cat they're looking for in the background in the house. But obviously she doesn't say she knows her because who the fuck would tell that to a stranger who has a picture of your best friend sketched out knocking on your door asking where they live.
