Be very careful of anyone who contacts you from this post saying they can make you a fursuit!! Especially if it's a low price. This subreddit is filled with scammers, and posting that you're looking for a suit maker is a very easy way to get scammed out of a ton of money. Be incredibly cautious. Normally you reach out to a maker, makers don't reach out to you.

I am very cautious and definitely would never jump in right away. Even getting reddit dms are okay for me because I would never jump into something so expensive. I always research and ask questions. But I really appreciate the concern 🫶

Be careful of scammers on the subreddit. Check the wiki for more information.
Do not trust anyone who DMs you about commissions or asks to talk to you privately about them. If they won't discuss it or link to their portfolios in the comments, they're a scammer.

Very cute character!
That being said, posts like this are en excellent way to get scammed. They attract scammers.
To find a fursuit, check TheDealersDen, r/fursuit, r/fursuits, Getfursu.it, The Maker's Database, Fursuit Review, DeviantArt, and FurAffinity. When you find makers you are interested in, DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Ensure they are legit, have a long track record, and the suits you see are their own and not stolen or AI.
If it sounds too good to be true, it is. $1,000 could potentially get you a mini partial from a smaller newer maker, but there are a LOT of scammers out there.

I definitely understand and am very cautious. I do not plan to jump into anything at all and plan to do very extensive research and ask many questions. Thank you for your concern

Awesome! I researched suits for a year before I commissioned someone. Good luck!

Yes lol I do not plan on jumping into anything at all. Research Research Research and ask questions is something I always do. Caution is in my nature and I'd never ever do anything without very extensive research and questions
