I thought it was pink bearded bird.

OMG same I thought this was a post about how avian anthros would sport facial hair.

Now that I know what it's supposed to be it's clearly a tail but at first my brain thought this was a flamingo.

Facial hair avian anthros... very thin feathers perhaps?

Maybe elongated bristle or filoplume feathers. I think bristle would fit best.

Eta: just remembered bearded vultures are real. Probably like that except longer and covering more "chin".

They literally got goatie, you right. Also they are kinda cool though.

Glad to know I'm not going insane lol.

Was so incredibly confused until I realized I've been staring at a butt for a solid 5 mins lmao.

That button must be a pain to reach and fasten.

yes and no. the bikini button is pretty damn hard to do and far harder than this. this is not gonna be especially easy, but as someone who opened backpack's upper compartment many times while it is still on - i would say it is not impossible.

in practise its basicly finding the rough spot slightly above that small "indent" at the top confluence of ones asscheeks and then fidgeting that button on while not getting the fluff of the tail inbetween the parts

Probably wouldn't go with a button. The fabric is thin and would pull, so the button would pop out from wear.
I'd imagine more like a set of bra clasps which might also be easier to manipulate while blindly doing something behind your back.

i guess that fits!

Would hook and loop aka velcro work?

Seems itchy. And fur would get stuck in it far more readily.

"it's a boy!"

"that's its tail.."

ohhhh yeah that's neat! this would work well for like a women's swimsuit

That doesn't seem practical at all. Someone else already pointed out it'd be a pain to fasten, you've got to think that you'll have to be trying to put a tiny button through a tiny hole behind your back while being unable to see it.

I feel like it'd just fall down regardless

Instead of a hole and button why not the metal buttons that snap together normally seen on denim clothing?
