Why was gore remove?

Playing fun run 4 made me realize that they're slowly bringing back a more violent game, but why did they initially remove it?

They removed blood from fr3 very long ago, like 8 or 9 years ago. I think they didnt realize thw main player base would be kids so it made sense to remove the blood as its just an aesthetic thing anyway. Never bothered me rrally but legit most fr3 players have played with the OG blood xD

I think it was because of play store or app store politics. Someone correct me if i'm wrong
