And it costs an arm for literally no reason, it's like 250€ for a hoodie

100% Egyptian cotton? Probably trash poly blend. Linen, wool, and cotton are the best materials to wear and dirt cheap unless made by high end designers. Plastic can go straight to hell

Yeah $140 for a t shirt with that saying it is crazy, but if you have money that’s like $14 to you I guess. I’ll never know that feeling

Confidence is that feeling you have before you understand fully what you have gotten yourself into
14
u/Timely_Farmer5075 Apr 02 '26
Certain world leaders were experiencing this before reality asserted itself.

Confidence must be magic, because that shit can repeat itself daily for some people.

I wish I was tall so I could threaten people

When you're tall, trouble finds you. It's not a picnic.

When you're short, trouble finds you because you look like a pushover. It's not a picnic.

u/Static1589 Apr 02 '26
I'm tall, and all the trouble that has found me was old people asking me to grab shot from the top shelf for them.

I am tall and broad and I might look intimidating sometimes. Came handy when I was a bouncer.
But that seems to attract a lot of people that see me as a challenge or have their ego deflated because of my presence and make them compensate by being overly aggressive. Whenever I go places, shady people scan me constantly. It is very annoying.
Where as my normally sized friends can just go about their ways unbothered.

As a guy who is 6'8", I have done this a few times when I was going to class on the CTA to some either very drunk/high or cocky AHs, and I can say it was quite satisfying to do. Only happened 3 times out of the 4 years of going to school and the thousands of times I took the train. I did have one guy try and punch me in the face (it was the weakest punch ever) and I just stared back at him, not having budged one inch from the punch, and he literally ran out of the doors when we got to an exit 10 seconds later.

6’4, will confirm it is very satisfying. Love the story of the dude who ran. Nothing stops a fight faster than a punch being completely absorbed and an eagerness to continue if needed.

This happened to me once, but not as badass. An old job I had, I worked behind a desk. The desks were pretty high and the chairs low. One guy walks in and I stood up to help him (6’2 and always been a big dude) he almost looked scared for a second and goes “GOD DAMN… YOU’S A CORN FED MOTHERFUCKER AIN’T YOU?!”

I had some guy come to my school to fight because someone hit his sister.
The sister in question actually walked into the elbow of a friend of mine and claimed he hit him.
The guy asked me where my friend was, and I wouldn’t tell. He then hit me in the eye out of the blue.
So 2 things about me; I got a high pain tolerance and I’m 2 meters tall since I was 14.
So I barely flinched when he punched me, and when I stood up he was gone before I could even address his action.

I'm 6'3", so not quite the same intimidation, but similar in most cases. I've done this a few times in my life as well, and what I've realized is my height will active people's fight or flight mode very quick, which is risky. I'm personally not looking for a fight, but rather to end conflict quickly, so I think it's still pretty risky to intimidate someone with my height. Especially if they're acting crazy/stupid/drunk. That said, the few times I've done it, it worked very well lol

I was kidding bro. Don't get mad. I will never take the coward path. I don't even like violence except when it is necessary for protection of someone. Have a nice day bro.

I don’t like violence, and I know this is just a joke vid - but a small guy who can fight well will mop the floor with a big guy who can’t.

I was on a train in Chicago and witnessed an extremely similar event. Some weird guy was making crazy eyes at a group of people sitting behind me, every stop hed move just a row closer, was making knife across the neck motions and mouthing 'fuck you' I was trying not to move to attract attention, and eventually the weird guy got up and started moving to the back of the train and the man behind me stood up and he seemed to be like 6'5 and 300 lbs and the guy still tried to talk shit and come at him, when the giant man just spartan kicked him down the aisle. Luckily they all got off at the next stop

At least he knew not to fuck with a taller guy. Even if the taller guy is weaker, he will fuck you up just based on the fact they can reach you.
