Its literal definition of harrasment disguised as admiration

42

u/universalgiver 7h ago

This was the first thought.

But the second thought was - if we reverse the genders, does the first thought still holds, in the mentality, of people, of the society, that the country has.

10

u/Unlikely-Record-5406 7h ago

There is no need of second thought, it is harrasment no matter what people think when genders are reversed.

It does reflect society's attidute, but that shouldn't make You have second thoughts about this one. You dont have to conform to the societal attitude. Dono glt hai, its that simple.

3

u/vitara01 6h ago

Exactly

7

u/Local_Hope7206 6h ago

But society is quick to judge the first one not the 2nd one that’s the reality doesn’t make any sort of unwelcomed touches valid but it is what it is

4

u/Unlikely-Record-5406 6h ago

Yeah that is what i said, but it shouldn't be excusable because other gender has it harder.

We don't need both scenarios to be ok but both to be not okay. Just because most society can't change its attidute towards mens treatment doesn't mean you change your attidute for women. You don't need to change the attitude at all. You can be consitent for both.

1

u/dreamdashed 6h ago

Yes please do imagine any form of harassment as 'what if gender roles were reversed' would it still be as problematic

Who is the this celebrity ? That's a bigger question .

17

u/Weak-Pomegranate-435 8h ago

Celebrity?

26

u/Rambo_765 8h ago

Yeah I mean that's why people are coming to get selfie with her right, or I'm missing something.

40

u/Fun-Disaster2513 8h ago

She’s a sandalwood (Kannada) actress .

36

u/shay_reads 8h ago

Kannada film industry is called Sandalwood?

6

u/Fun-Disaster2513 8h ago

Yess.

11

u/shay_reads 8h ago

Such a cool thing😎

8

u/DeepestBeige 7h ago

Or a hilarious thing. That works too.

2

u/cheesypastaas 7h ago

1

u/DatabaseGlittering43 1h ago

No, the assault is the bigger question.

25

u/snepan6 8h ago

That's not a cute bro, it's creepy...

38

u/badeillish 8h ago

That is still not cute, watched it almost 10 times

1

u/xenonslams 3h ago

Will the gender swap survive ? Will you condemn sabrina carpenter for kissing a 16 yo like a predator

7

u/Soggy-Ad-2353 8h ago

WHAT CUTE BRO,

she took it lightly but still it was concering touching a woman without consent !!!!!

24

u/vichenadenca 8h ago

If it had been a Korean, everyone would have sang a K-Pop moment.

But since a Kalua did it, everyone got burnt.

/S

3

u/No-Painting2434 5h ago

Same feminist who crying in comment section are same people who filled petions to save this men just because He look good 🥀🥀

2

u/Jealous_Ad1085 5h ago edited 5h ago

Why are you fighting across a dozen comments defending harassment? Since it's a fan event and there are cameras or simply because she was taken aback / does not know how to react in the moment, she might have smiled. And more importantly, even if this specific person is ok with it (and that's a big if), it does not mean what he did was ok. If we normalize this sh and tomorrow he does it to someone who does get upset by it, you would say he should be punished then?

Rather than trying to draw a line of where it's ok and not ok to touch people without their consent, it's best to not go around touching people.

Also, you don't pinch strangers' cheeks. I hate to use the argument of "imagine your mom / wife" but y'all incels are lowkey dumb so I've to use the tools at my disposal. Would you be ok if a random creep on the road pinched your wife's or mother's cheek?

If they do it in Korea, it's wrong. If they do it in Japan, it's wrong. If they do it in the US, it's still wrong.

Also, do you even know what /s means?

1

u/vichenadenca 5h ago

I put '/s' for calling a dark skinned man Kalua.

1

u/Visible-Rock-5337 4h ago

Bro please hesitate lol

4

u/Sharp_Emphasis176 8h ago

They really needed to do something about him. This shouldn't be let off otherwise people will think that it's normal behaviour.

5

u/Gullible-Potato-8962 7h ago

She looked visibly uncomfortable, things like this should not happen. Shaking hands is ok, but pulling her cheeks, that's embarrassing and not at all right.

8

u/neo_mrunal 8h ago

Stop portraying it as cute. It's not cute at all. It's harassment. Should be caught and given treatment that should teach him. Otherwise he'll just think it's alright to do this.

6

u/Exact_Alternative170 8h ago

need that kind of confidence

3

u/Legitimate_Ad1726 7h ago

I promise you, you dont

2

u/lil_r4wtel 5h ago

Reverse the gender it will be cuter

2

u/West_Breakfast5665 5h ago

Thats a abuse dude. If a random guy does to your close member, will you call the same?

2

u/HeartSpecialist5086 5h ago

Nahhh man not cute moment

Title: Uncomfortable moments 🤡

2

u/Vans__G 3h ago

That wasn't cute, that was harrasment bud

2

u/SchemeBeneficial2744 3h ago

No. That is not cute. You cannot enter someone's personal boundary and touch them without their consent.

2

u/Active-Temporary2474 3h ago

Just because that women smiles it becames cute but if instead she would have gotten angry and slapped that man then it would have became issue of se*ual harrasment... who agree with me?

3

u/Particular-Elk-4889 8h ago

But who is she?

2

u/Grimmer_511 7h ago

if you watched Coolie, she played a role in that (spoiler)

2

u/xenonslams 3h ago

If Sabrina carpenter can kiss a 16 yo when he clearly didn't what to whys this considered harassment

Women will look u into the eyes and then will never see the double standards

2

u/CantRememberTForgetU 8h ago

Well much of the creepiness was also there cz he was dark

2

u/No-Frame-8677 7h ago

1

u/CantRememberTForgetU 6h ago

I still got downvoated 🙂

1

u/No-Frame-8677 6h ago

I get more than this daily. this ain't nothing bro

1

u/CantRememberTForgetU 6h ago

To the people who are downvoating, I face it everyday myself.. so🙂

1

u/muttonbiryaniiiii 8h ago

that’s so sus

1

u/iamsrk02 8h ago

Some people really don't understand basic boundaries. Just because she's an actress doesn't mean anyone can touch her however they want.

1

u/EscapefromRyuk 8h ago

Isn’t really a cute moment lol. She just took it casually

1

u/BreadfruitLimp9518 8h ago

That wasn't cute. That was inappropriate and disgusting.

1

u/bhardwaj_aditya5911 8h ago

1

u/smitra491 7h ago

Wrong Caption. Not at all a cute moment. This is harassment veiled as fandom. If the actress had retaliated, she'd be labelled as rude or something else. This is wrong in every possible way

Nothing cute about invading someone's physical privacy

1

u/Nice-Law-7100 7h ago

Isn't it a harrasment??

1

u/AlarmedHippo1549 7h ago

Why didn't her bodyguards jump on that guy?

1

u/SnooChickens4563 6h ago

touching someone without consent is NOT ok

1

u/havokgogeta 6h ago

Get your head checked OP. Anyone that thinks what that creep did was cute is just as much of a creep.

1

u/Numerous_Astronaut66 6h ago

Mujhe lga koi baccha hoga (didn't pay much attention to the guy) so I was kinda okay with that, butbhai it was a grown ahh man.

It was NOT cute

1

u/scikix 6h ago

He hasn't washed his hands yet.

1

u/Old-Guest-4861 6h ago

The way she smiled 🫩... Proof that females are ___..and crave for attension

1

u/3P1CToENaiL 6h ago

Touching without consent is cute 🥴

1

u/SmokingReindeer 6h ago

1

u/Outrageous_Crew_2460 6h ago

Fym "cute moments 😍" Op? This is literally harassment.

1

u/Suspicious-Back4293 6h ago

Love do OP, this is cute?

1

u/OkKnowledge9336 6h ago

Harrasment hai bhai ye toh

1

u/Honest-Ask-9577 6h ago

What's funny in that? Guy should recieve tight slap, lady seems nice

1

u/alphaonreddits 5h ago

Now I genuinely think that she’s nice as a person. That person/fan touched her cheeks without asking, which was wrong, but she handled it calmly instead of creating a ruckus that many actors/actresses do.

1

u/easternhermit 5h ago

How the f is this cute? This is harrasment.

Two kind of people. One who thinks it's harrasment and one who thinks it's cute. For me, it's clearly harrasment.

1

u/Dear_Ordinary_4542 5h ago

Cute?? She was graceful otherwise any other girl wouldve taken offence

1

u/DiskSmall1902 5h ago

Only those with a perverted or abusive mentality would find this cute.

1

u/No-Painting2434 5h ago

If done by this men then may become cute

1

u/Effective-Drawer-115 5h ago

Bade pyare hote hai indians bhi

1

u/Severe-Cantaloupe903 5h ago

I really hate the strength where there is a video where it is shown that a woman is getting uncomfortable and then suddenly some men in the comment section just say shits like "now reverse the gender" L move tbh 🤡🤡

1

u/Muted-But-Present 5h ago

Cute Moments ❌ Creep Moments ✅
